Storyline: The 100 Season 1 is set in the future, where a
nuclear apocalypse has destroyed civilization on Earth. The only survivors are
the residents of twelve space stations in orbit, who have merged into a single
massive station known as the Ark. After 97 years in space, resources on the Ark
are running out and the leaders decide to send 100 juvenile prisoners to Earth
to see if the planet is habitable. Upon arriving on Earth, the group of
teenagers discovers that the planet has been taken over by hostile tribes and
mutated animals, and they must learn to work together to survive in this
dangerous new world.
