Storyline:
In this fantasy for the entire family, an old and forgotten game gets magical powers. When their father (Tim Robbins), who was meant to spend the day with them, is abruptly summoned away on business and gives them strong orders not to leave the house, twelve-year-old Walter Budwing (Josh Hutcherson) and his younger brother, Danny (Jonah Bobo), feel they're in for a boring afternoon. When Walter agrees to play a board game Danny discovered in the basement during a session of hide-and-seek, he is motivated more by boredom than anything else.
